The King Family

My friend asked me if I would be willing to take some family pictures for her. This is the first time her family had EVER been together. Half the family lives in New York and half here in Missouri. So for her parents 40th wedding anniversary they all got together in Missouri and had some family pictures taken. They were a really fun family!

The kids loved these crazy shots!

My All Grown Up Baby Sister!

When Heidi was in town we did a photoshoot of her in the park. We had a blast. We put together a album and gave it to mom for her birthday. She loved it!!

Heidi said to me during the shoot, "Now I know what models feel like. Put your head up. Put your head down. Chin up. Chin Down. Look at me. Don't look at me. Man...I am exhausted." I just laughed she is so funny.

This girl loves her webkins. I think she had 15 or so. I don't know who loves them more. Her or my older sister. It is a toss-up.

So pretty!

Love this one!

This is her sweet side.

My absolute fav. I just think she looks absolutely gorgeous here!

The End!

My precious baby sister!

I met my parents in Terre Haute the other week to pick up Heidi for some fun times in St. Louis. THis is a picture of me and my dad at lunch. Do we look alike?

Me, Heidi, Bryce and Lucy went to the waterpark. I love this picture.
Heidi and I went to the zoo. Heidi's first trip to the St. Louis Zoo. She got a flamingo painted on her face so we thought it only fitting to take a pic of her and her flamingo friends.
This giraffe literally walked up behind her and stood for a second. It was like he was posing for the picture. He serisouly could have licked her head he was so close.
I just think looks pretty here. :)

We had a great visit. She was here for 5 days and I cried when she left. :(

Dyson!

I long for a Dyson Vaccum. Seriously- everyone raves about how wonderful they are so I feel I need one too. I have dogs that shed like crazy and I feel I deserve a nice vaccum since I have to clean my house so much.

A few weeks ago I was at Target and I saw a Dyson on clearance for $199. WHAT?? $199?? Are you kidding me? This must be a joke. The vaccum I have longed for that is normally $400 is half off? Well I did what any smart gal would do and I plopped the sucker in my cart and jetted my way to the check out before anyone tried to gank it from me.

Now I had to try to explain to Bryce that I spent $200 on a vaccum. I tried to explain how great it would be for the dog hair, how our current vaccum was a piece of junk and how this would last us for years on end.

It didn't work! He told me I needed to return it because we didn't need it.

Oh no no, my friend. There is no way I was returning this vaccum. It was my dream. I had to find a way to keep Dottie. (I named her)

So- i started going thru my house and finding things I no longer needed and I sold them on ebay.Oh yes- I was determined. Within a week I had around a good amount of cash coming in so I justified bringing it in from my car (I made dottie stay there until I knew it was safe to bring her in.) So I brought her in, opened her up, followed all the instructions of putting her together and the time had come to put her to work. I could hardly contain myself. I was so very excited. I pressed the power button and she purred like a kitten.

Then tragedy struck. I started to vaccum with Dottie and nothing exciting happened. There was still dog hair in the carpet. The rugs were not spottless. There were specks on the ground. Surely I had forgotten to put something on there. I went over it again and again to see if I had missed something but no. It was put together correctly. Had Bryce sabotaged me?

I tried again the next day and nothing. My world as I knew it would never be the same. All of the hopes and dreams were now crushed.

I only had one option. I took Dottie back and got my $213.63 refund. I am normally happy to do a return and get some money back. But this was the saddest one ever.

Here is a pic of Dottie before going back to Mr. Dyson. Thanks for nothing my friend. Thanks for nothing.

Boston

Bryce and I went to Boston a few weeks ago to see my sister and bro-in-law. We had a wonderful time. Here are just a few of the pics we took.

I love this one. If you look very closely you were see my sister grabbing her face because John jabbed his elbow in her face on his way up. It was seriosly one of the funniest things I have witnessed. :) Sorry Nish. This is them getting it right. After the swelling in her face went down. haha
This delightful dessert is the best Cannoli I have ever had. It is from Mike's Pastry which is in the North End of Boston. If you ever plan to visit Boston, Mike's Pastry is a must. You could seriously get drunk off of their Tirimisu.

Just a little pose in the park.
The church behind us was the church in the last scene of National Treasure 1.

I think this is the only pic we got of the 4 of us. Sad, i know.
Sisters! I love it.

Bryce and I went to the park last week to take some pictures of Reese. Her mom is one of our really good friends and Bryce is her godfather. She is so adorable. Here are some of my favorite pics.

Summer Fun

Memorial Day weekend was great! Bryce and I got to go to Indiana for a nice long weekend with the family. We had a really good time. We ate good, we slept good and we got to swim in my parents new pool. The only thing missing was Anisha and John. If we added them to the mix the weekend would have been perfect.

This is mom and Heidi. I love this pic!

Myles and Blake posing for a special surprise picture for their momma!
The very first jump in the history of the Wolford pool! Bryce always knows where there is a camera around.
Dad's first jump in the pool. Heidi was there for moral support because the water was COLD!!

Eric and Becky

My friend, Lisa Hessel, is an amazing photographer. I have been learning under her and working for her for about a year now. Sometimes I am her second shooter at weddings she does. A few weeks ago we did Eric and Becky's wedding. It was a beautiful day. Here are a couple of shots that I took.

Be sure to check out Lisa's blog at http://www.lisahesselphotography.blogspot.com/

While Lisa was with Becky getting ready I was with Eric while he was getting ready.

Eric is a HUGE KU fan so I just had to take a shot with his KU hat on.
Eric and Becky opted to take most of their photos before the wedding. Always a good choice so you can have more pics from your wedding day. This is a shot of them seeing each other for the first time. I love her expression here.
I did not take this one, Lisa did. But I love it so much and I had to post it. I love the vintage feel. I tell ya, Lisa is amazing.

One of my BFF's is getting married in two weeks so we went to the park to take some engagement pics. I got a new camera this week so I told her I would take her pics for her. She has currently only spent $1200 on her wedding. She is my hero. Here are some of the pics we took.
